Founded by former Packer player, coach, and 3-time Super Bowl champ Harry Sydney; My Brother’s Keeper is dedicated to providing Straight Talk~ Sound Direction mentoring services to assist individuals dealing with the hardships of life by helping them live with Integrity, Respect and Standards. We are committed to providing our clients with the knowledge and skills to make positive decisions and changes in their lives. My Brother’s Keeper founded in 2003 by Harry Sydney as a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, My Brother’s Keeper provides “Straight Talk – Sound Direction” mentoring to thousands of men and boys to help them develop the knowledge and skills to take charge of their lives and make healthy choices. The integrity, respect, and standards they learn will help them become better individuals, family members and valued members of our community. The programs we provide include One-on-One Mentoring, Group Forum Sessions, AODA Assessments and Employment Assistance Program. Everyone is welcome regardless of race, creed, color, or ethnic background.
Types of Clients Served: Participants range from ALL YOUNG MEN identified by schools, courts, and parents to ALL MEN struggling with relationships, job dissatisfaction, and financial difficulty and defining and achieving realistic goals. Typical problems encountered include Academic Failure, Domestic Abuse, Anger Management, Low Self Esteem, Alcohol/Drug Abuse, Depression/Anxiety, Job Loss, and Gang Violence.
For over 20 years, My Brother’s Keeper has been committed to mentoring boys and creating new opportunities. Successful mentoring provides the boys and men in the program the leadership skills they need to be productive members of OUR community! Mentors transform lives!
Need Help?Not everyone is that lucky. Many at-risk boys in our community have had no role model, no mentor, or worse a negative role model. My Brother’s Keeper has been that trusted mentor for numerous men and boys since its inception.
