The Power To Change

We are committed to providing our clients with the knowledge and skills to make positive decisions and changes in their lives. All persons are welcome regardless of race, creed, color, or ethnic background. “It’s not about what we go through in life. It’s how we handle it.” –Harry Sydney

My Brother’s Keeper, Inc. was founded in 2003 to help boys and men living in Brown County deal with life’s challenges.  The mission is to provide mentoring service with “Straight Talk – Sound Direction” to individuals that lack necessary life coping skills.  Participants range from boys and men ages 8-65 identified by the schools, courts, and parents struggling with defining and achieving realistic goals.

The program provides an effective mentoring service.  Research shows that mentoring is an effective tool to reach persons in need of self-direction and in making proper life choices.  They experience positive benefits that include: better attendance and attitude at school and work; understanding and knowing the value of higher education; and reducing negative behaviors with increasing positive social attitudes and relationships.
